Beacon Transport Community Service and Charity
Beacon supported the Nashville Rescue Mission
Several times a year, Beacon partners in an outreach to help a worthwhile cause in the middle Tennessee area. On May 1, 2015, we supported the Nashville Rescue Mission.
Nashville Rescue Mission’s Mission: Following God’s command to love our neighbor as ourselves, Nashville Rescue Mission seeks to help the hurting of Middle Tennessee by offering food, clothing and shelter to the homeless and recovery programs to those enslaved in life degrading problems. Our goal is to help people know the saving grace of Jesus, and through Him, gain wisdom for living, find fulfillment in life and become a positive part of the community.
Beacon Transport took up donations of items that the Mission needed as they provided a ‘Wish List’. Beacon was able to contribute two complete carts full of donations. Beacon Team Members and their families volunteered at the Mission to help serve over 500 meals that night.
It is always such a humbling experience to serve others and give back to the community. A huge thank you to everyone that participated!
Beacon participated in the LP Field Salvation Army’s Forgotten Angels Toy Drive again this year
12/10/13 – Thank you to everyone that helped out and donated toys. A special thanks to Isaac Nicholson for the donation of 2 bicycles. We are all Blessed more than some. We are thankful for the opportunity to give back, and hopefully make some children smile on Christmas morning.

Beacon participated in the LP Field Toy Drive
12/4/2012 – Beacon Transport and it’s employees participated in the LP Field Toy Drive to benefit the Salvation Army’s Forgotten Angels Program. We collected over 12 large bags of toys for children and clothing for the elderly. All will be used to help provide gifts to less fortunate children and elderly in the Middle Tennessee area during the holiday season. Beacon Transport appreciates the selfless giving of it’s employees for this most worthwhile cause.
